Gilad Peleg | CEO

Leading the drive for better cyber threat detection and investigation with the full scope incident model, Gilad serves as CEO of SecBI. He is a seasoned industry leader with past leadership roles in startups and global companies, including M&A activities. Before joining SecBI, Gilad managed the business development, marketing and strategic activities that resulted in the sale of Oversi to Allot (NASDAQ: ALLT). Prior to Oversi, he ran a $20M LGC Wireless business unit toward continuous growth and profitability, resulting in an acquisition by ADC (today NYSE: TEL), where he continued as VP Marketing of the Mobile Network business unit. Earlier in his career, he served as an officer in an elite technology unit in Israel’s Defense Forces, managing the development and operations of infosecurity and communication systems. Gilad also co-founded a cyber security company focused on the prevention of social engineering hacks. He earned a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the Technion, the Israeli Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Tel Aviv University. Fun fact: He claims to have installed the first “hotspot” in the world while working for Breezcom.

Doron Davidson | Co-Founder, VP BD & Customer Success

Doron has over 15 years of experience in IT security and telecommunications, leading him to coin the term “full scope incident”. Before joining SecBI, he held operational and P&L responsibilities for RSA’s EMEA professional security services practices. In this role, Doron worked with some of the world’s largest security teams and helped them to establish the systems and business processes at the heart of their incident response operations. He previously held product management and technical positions at Cyota, Beyond Security, Schema, and Amdocs. Doron is a big believer in Stephen Covey’s seven habits and lectures on motivation. He is a CISSP and holds an MBA and a BSc in Computer Science.
Fun fact: In his spare time, Doron is a home brew master, producing beer with precision and innovative flavors.

Arie (Fredy) Fred | VP of Product Management

Fredy experienced the pain of not having the full scope of a security incident first-hand as a manager of IT and Information Security operations for ten years before joining SecBI as Vice President of Product Management. With over 20 years of IT and Information Security experience, Fredy is a strong technology executive, specializing in business-driven security architectures and business risk-control management. He is a proven technology leader and a cyber security strategist with a skill set that aligns technology, architecture, risk, and management. As a manager of IT and Cyber Security and Incident response operations, he developed a comprehensive portfolio of adaptive, risk-based behavior models of cyberattacks and relevant defensive solutions, for various global organizations across various industries and global locations.

Yaron Mashav | VP of R&D

Yaron leads the development team in translating the essence of a full scope incident into code for SecBI’s groundbreaking products. A veteran in product development management particularly of enterprise-grade products, Yaron has led R&D teams in global companies such Amdocs and Xura (formerly Comverse), as well as in small startups (Tjat, Fincom). Proficient in numerous development methods, software architecture, and top-notch technologies, Yaron holds a BSc (Cum Laude) from Bar-Ilan University.

Susan Becker | VP of Marketing

As SecBI’s VP of marketing, Susan heads the crusade to communicate the critical necessity of threat detection and investigation using a full scope incident model. Her success in strengthening companies’ brands is spread over years of marketing and communications experience at various hi-tech companies,including Waterfall Security, F5 Networks, Traffix, Comverse, and Alvarion. Prior to talking tech, Susan worked in PR, fundraising and finance in non-profit organizations and the municipal governments of Raanana, Israel, and New York City. Susan earned a B.A. in Urban Studies and M.C.P. in City and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania.

Yoav Tzruya | General Partner, Head of JVP Labs

Yoav brings over twenty years of experience in cybersecurity and data analytics to SecBI. Prior to joining JVP, Yoav headed a venture capital consulting business, Altus Media, preceded by serving as General Manager/COO and CMO of Exent Technologies, a leader in video games digital distribution working with the world’s top broadcasting and communications companies. In addition, Yoav held executive positions with TeleKnowledge, an innovator in business support systems. Yoav spent six years in the Israeli Air Force, managing mission critical development projects including in the “enterprise” control, command & security space, and is a decorated officer. Yoav holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics (cum laude) and an MS in Computer Science (cum laude) from Tel-Aviv University, as well as an Executive MBA from the Kellogg School of Management’s international program.

Arnaud Marechal serves as CFO of Orange Digital Ventures where he leverages his experience in strategy and corporate finance to support startups to reach their financial goals. Prior to his CFO role, he was VP of Orange Group’s Strategy in charge of the Business Units and Group business plans, VP of Business Modeling & Valuation in Corporate Finance, and led numerous research for new business activities, investment decisions, and more. Arnaud started at Orange as an R&D engineer, moved to network planning, regulatory issues, strategic marketing, financial planning and analysis. Arnaud earned an MBA from HEC Paris, an MSc from Telecom ParisTechin computer science and applied math and an MA in Mathematics from the University of Orléans.

Matthew A. Bloom | Director, Investments, Connecticut Innovations

Matt joined CI in early 2014 and is responsible for sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities, structuring and executing transactions, and supporting the growth and success of portfolio companies post-investment. Previous successful investments he has helped support include CyVek (acquired by Bio-Techne Corp.; NASDAQ: TECH), PCC Technologies (acquired by Clearview Capital), and iDevices (acquired by Hubbell Inc.; NYSE: HUBB). Prior to CI, Matt led deal teams in completing seed- and early-stage investments across various tech sectors for Excell Partners, and also played key roles in helping to launch both the Rochester Angel Network’s Fund I and the Simon Business School’s student-run venture fund (serving as CEO for the Simon VC Fund’s first two seed investments).

Amichai Shulman | Cybersecurity Entrepreneur

Amichai Shulman is a cybersecurity researcher, entrepreneur and investor with more than 25 years of cybersecurity experience in military, government and commercial environments. He co-founded Imperva in 2002 and served as CTO for the company over 15 years, driving innovation and thought leadership. Currently an adviser and board member on a number of cybersecurity startup companies, Amichai also teaches cybersecurity for undergraduate college students and conducts independent research with the Technion – Technology Institute of Israel. He’s presented in many industry conferences over the years, among them RSAC, Infosec and BlackHat. Amichai holds B.Sc and M.Sc in Computer Science from the Technion.

Thomas Gourgeon | Head of Int’l Bus Dev, Orange Cyberdefense

Thomas Gourgeon is head of international business development for Orange Cyberdefense, the B2B arm of the Orange Group specializing in managed security services. A former SITA and then Equant employee, hehas held several different positions in the B2B area, ranging from product development to marketing, strategy and partnership engagement. Before his current position, he was the Chief of Staff of the Orange Business Services CEO and Chief Compliance Officer for Orange Business Services. Thomas is a graduate from the Ecole Polytechnique and Telecoms Paris.

Stan Kreydin | CTO/CISO of Wyndham Destinations

Stan Kreydin currently serves as Chief Technology Officer as well Chief Information Security Officer for Wyndham Destinations. In this position, he is responsible for a wide range of Technology and Cybersecurity shared services pillars. Broader responsibilities include technology vision & evangelism as well as thought leadership/advisory services for domestic and international business units/brands. Prior to this role, Kreydin was the Global Chief Technology Officer for the Wyndham Worldwide family of brands.  He has been with Wyndham Worldwide’s various Business Units/Brands (and Cendant previous to that) for over 19 years, where he has held a number of regional as well as global IT-related staff and management positions. Coupled with these assignments, he worked on various facets of the acquisition integration and eventual divestiture from Cendant Corporation in 2006 as well as dozens of MA&D activities for Wyndham globally. He was an instrumental driver for the 2018 spin/split of Wyndham Worldwide into two independent companies as well as rebuilding various facets of the remaining IT organizations. He is an advisor, has been involved in industry recognized innovation awards, published in various digital channels and is an active speaker for numerous technology and business events. Kreydin holds a B.A. in Behavioral Neuroscience from Rutgers University and is a former enlisted member of the United States Marine Corps. Tim Mather | Partner at Fortium Partners

Tim Mather is a Partner at Fortium Partners, an IT consulting firm where he has assisted many clients with security issues (including ransomware remediation), developing security programs, and security evaluations. Additionally, he also advises several cybersecurity start-ups on their product strategies and marketing, and a venture capital firm on investments in cybersecurity start-ups. Previously, Tim has held very senior security positions (e.g., CISO three times) for several high technology companies in the Silicon Valley. He has also worked for three cybersecurity start-ups.  Tim is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), and a Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM).  He also speaks frequently at security conferences (e.g., the RSA Conference) domestically and internationally, and association meetings (e.g., ISACA-SV).  To ensure that he is not bored, Tim has also co-authored two books on information security. The first, “The Executive Guide to Information Security: Threats, Challenges, and Solutions” was published by Addison-Wesley in 2004, and sold nearly twelve thousand copies.  The second, “Cloud Security and Privacy: An Enterprise Perspective on Risks and Compliance” was published by O’Reilly in 2009, sold over nineteen thousand copies, and was translated into Chinese and Japanese.
